Hi Royce: I was absolutely stunned by all of the red admirals I have see over the past two days at Presqu'ile Provincial Park near Brighton, Ontario - directly across from Rochester. Lilacs have been cultivated over the years in the residential area of the park and now grow wild in the Calf Pasture area. This morning dozens flew around me. I took a few shots of individuals. On the dry dead grass around some lilacs, red admirals may have been sipping the dew but flew up in numbers when I walked on the grass, some even landing on me. Don Davis, Toronto, ON
