Description/Notes:
Two Painted Ladies interacting on the west side of a black locust tree growing in the riparian zone on the west side of Big Creek, at the Iowa State University Uthe Research Farm. They interacted twice, but then flew out of the area several minutes later. Weather was sunny with a southwest wind and a temperature of about 48 F. Measured coordinates: 41.92583 N, -93.75695 W.
