I have observed Red Admirals (Vanessa atalanta) on three separate occasions. 5-29-10 (2) - several times throughout afternoon;

Red Admirals are here. I saw two at my home in Herndon and one in Vienna today. I checked the Common Milkweed, which is about 2 foot high, but no Monarch eggs. I have not seen any Monarchs either.
