What we are looking at right now is recolonizing. I saw several hundred yesterday brooding no directional flight. A big mixed bag for the last few days; worn ladies, and anglewings and fresh Mourning Cloaks, Tiger Swallowtails and Monarchs.
Red Admirals are mixed worn and fresh.

Saw 12 different Admirals in an approximately 100 yard stretch of rock/sand beach.
Many Eastern Commas (Polygonia comma) also in the mix.
The Admirals flew out of the shoreline woods, landed, on the small rocks, tasted and displayed.
