Pioneertown Mountains Preserve, SanBernardino County, California, slightly north west of Pioneertown, elevation 4300-5300 feet. [Location estimated within a 2 km radius.] Full sun mid 80s? not too windy, 7:35 to 4:15, almost all wash walking, with some willow forest and then some really boring higher mountainous ceanothus scrub with one prominent peak checked.
