Description/Notes:
About 60 painted lady butterflies seen (probably lots more that we didn't see) in a municipal garden near Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. They were mostly on Verbena bonariensis and purple salvia. The weather was sunny, around 60 degrees, with a fairly strong wind from the south. These butterflies have been hanging around for a few days.
