Patagonia, Arizona. Location precision: estimated within a 1.5 km radius. Observed by Fred Heath, DesertLeps Newsgroup. "There are still butterflies out there. Although it is December, today Mary Klinkel and I managed to find the 27 species listed below. All were found by walking around the town of Patagonia. We also went nearby to the bottom of Red Mountain and to the Rabbitbrush (almost totally gone to seed) at Harshaw Creek and found a total of 8 species. But nothing new that we hadn’t already found in Patagonia. The difference is that Patagonia has a number of well-watered gardens with nectar...."
