Description/Notes:
Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge, Anson County, North Carolina. Location precision: estimated within a 1000m radius. Observed by Mike Turner, CarolinaLeps Newsgroup. "Today I visited Pee Dee NWRfrom about 12:45 to 5 pm. Weather was sunny and 80 F. I walked Wildlife Drive Loop twice and explored the Greentree Reservoir Road and walked around the fields. There was a lot of nectaring activity on Autumn-Olive, Eloeagnus umbellata. The highlight was a Painted Lady among 16 total species [also including an American Lady.... Good butterflying.
