Description/Notes:
This is a repeat performance that I noticed about a month ago with another Red Admiral. I have a stump near my pollinator garden of which it seems the R. A. likes to visit. This recent visit was about the same time ( 5-5.30 PM)every day at the same location in my yard. For 4 days the same behavior was repeated. Its like the RA are about to roost for the night, but actually doesn't or does and they just blend it so much it is hard for me to see it. I find them very sensitive to movement and then rapid reaction. My pictures are not great and haven't been able to get more then 8' before setting them off on a flight frenzy. If I move away it will return to the same area. The RA a month ago was worn and ragged so I know it is not the same RA but amazed that the location and behavior are almost the same.
