Description/Notes:
Corn Creek, Desert National Wildlife Refuge, Clark County, Nevada. Location precision: within a 6m radius. Nectaring on Cherry blossom. North west of Las Vegas at this location was quite a number of Painted Lady butterflies nectaring and obtaining mineral salts from the damp ground. 5 to 8 observed at one moment on a single cherry tree, with two trees about 50 feet apart. Many flying and I estimate 25 in this area. Observed by lonnyholmes, Vanessa Migration Project page, iNaturalist. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/21067175
