Description/Notes:
I live in a suburb of LA called Toluca Lake, near Universal Studios, and for two full days, MILLIONS of these butterflies have been flying right outside my door! They are all flying in the same direction, due north, and it is a real sight to behold. They are small and fast and determined! I've lived in LA for over sixty years and I've never seen anything like it. Observed by Little Lulu, Daily Kos.
