Description/Notes:
Near El Centro, California. I surveyed three wireless communications facilities in Arizona last week on 3/7 (Mesa), 3/8 (Douglas), and 3/9 (Yuma). Driving back home to LA on Saturday, I noticed that the painted ladies were everywhere. There was a veritable plethora of painted ladies on Highway 111 - beginning at the junction with Interstate 8 just east of El Centro, then past the eastern shore of the Salton Sea, and on to Interstate 10 in Indio. Unfortunately, my car’s windshield (and bumper and mirrors) ended up being dotted with them. Observed by nicemarmot, Daily Kos.
