Spring Garden ANSI, Windsor, Ontario, Canada: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm (GPS 42.256890 - 83.04825). Location precision: estimated within a 550m radius. Observed by Jeff Larson. Today I checked a few Essex County woodlots and I encountered the following species: 2 Cabbage Whites, 12 Red Admirals, 1 Mourning Cloak, 3 Eastern Commas. The temperature today reached 22 C in the Windsor area. Spring Azures should emerge any time now in the Windsor area.
