Description/Notes:
Weather today is clear and sunny, and the Ladies have resumed their desperate flight to the NW. Fairly common today. Got to practice my net swing for the upcoming collecting season. Although I am usually not too good with mid-air swings, I got plenty of opportunities. (Kind of like baseball batting practice). None were collected nectaring. I managed to get 25 specimens in less than a half hour. All are fresh, none with any noticeable wing damage or fading. All are from the same location on a Cul-de-Sac in front of my house in Thousand Oaks, California. 67 F, elevation 813 feet. All were collected between 10:45 AM-11:15 AM. [Observed by John G. Pasko.]
