Description/Notes:
Red Admirals were flying around in the late afternoon in our yard. One was sitting on a concrete wall of a raised bed. Another flew into view and the one on the concrete took off in pursuit. They were in a close spiral, flying around the limbs of a large maple tree. After a couple landings and prompt take-offs, they settled into what appeared to be prolonged mating, about 15-20 feet up in the tree on a small limb.
