Description/Notes:
Kimball Pond, Patten, Penobscot County, Maine. Location precision: estimated within an 800m radius. Observed by Judy Goodell. The location in Maine is adjacent to the Northern section of Baxter State Park where our camp is located. On the 15th, I saw 3 Painted Ladies. The day before on the same hike, I saw at least two, along with my first ever sightings and identification of Great Spangled Fritillary, Silver Bordered Fritillay, Atlantis Fritillary and Viceroy butterfly. Yesterday, I believe I saw and photographed the Aphrodite Fritillary.
