Description/Notes:
In locations east and west of Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, we saw a total of 30 or more Painted Lady butterflies, mostly on zinnias and Salvia, and some on Verbena bonariensis. The locations with the largest numbers were a public pollinator garden east of the lake and a corner lot with zinnias west of the lake.
